When I picture my dream home, I envision the library. Dark wood shelves, thousands of books, a hand-carved desk, artwork scattered, and of course one of those rolling ladders. Not quite there yet, but I still account for every detail when it comes to my office decor. Your workspace should be a source of inspiration and reflection of your personal taste. Hopefully, you see it as an inviting place, just for you, where you can let your creative juices flow.

For myself, getting everything together has been a slow process because damn, decorating is expensive! Amazon, Hobby Lobby, and Etsy are my new best friends. I’m no interior designer, so Pinterest is my saving grace. Another great source for inspiration is Architectural Digest or other luxury home magazines. I enjoy the contrast between modern and feminine, so I chose a minimal glass desk with feminine accents. I also mixed copper, gold, and silver for dimension. Lastly, add flowers or candles to bring some life into your space.

Lucky for you, my minimalist desk is on sale through Cost Plus World Market! You can get the glass top and chrome base for $165! Pairing a glass desk with an acrylic chair is a great way to make your space appear larger. Also, be sure to check your spam for discount codes from Target, West Elm, etc. I saved a ton by purchasing products during sales and using discount codes. This may seem like common sense but you’d be surprised how many discounts you miss in your junk mail. Why pay more for something when you don’t have to right?!

Below are all the links! I hope this peek into my workspace has given you a little inspiration and a good starting point to decorating your own office. Happy Monday!
